Founder's Introduction
Sun & Soul Jamaica was founded by Tracean Miller, a Jamaican creative entrepreneur and designer with a deep love for culture, storytelling and artistic expression. The platform celebrates Jamaican heritage while providing meaningful opportunities for emerging artists to share their work with the world. Through art, culture and thoughtful design, Sun & Soul Jamaica brings authentic Jamaican stories to life.
Founder's Story
I am Tracean Miller, a graphic designer, creative entrepreneur and proud Jamaican. My journey has been shaped by a deep love for culture, strong faith and the belief that family is the foundation of everything meaningful.
Growing up, I learned early the value of a strong support system. Family taught me how essential encouragement, guidance and belief are in building confidence and purpose. That lesson has stayed with me throughout my life and career, and it is a principle that guides Sun & Soul Jamaica.
Both of my parents were educators, and their dedication to teaching and service left a lasting impression on me. My mother, in particular, believed deeply in education as a pathway to opportunity. Her dream was to one day provide scholarships and help improve learning environments for students, especially within the communities she served. Sun & Soul Jamaica carries that legacy forward, with a long-term commitment to giving back through education, scholarships and community development.
As an alumna of the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, I experienced firsthand the power of creative mentorship and exposure. That experience shaped my confidence as a designer and reinforced my belief that emerging artists deserve platforms where their voices are seen, valued and supported.
Sun & Soul Jamaica is my way of becoming that support and foundation for artists; offering pathways to earn, grow and share their work while remaining true to their individual expression.
